I was going to take the insulation out from under the hood but was wondering if it would increase cabin noise. Does anyone who has done this notice a big difference.

Take it off. Yes you wil notice a little but not much. Second it will help keep the engine cooler. yank it out man theres not side effects to it. ohh and Welcome to Ceg

A lot of contiques did not even come with one!

I've had mine off for over a year with no paint problems. Sure did help cool the underhood temps down though!
