Hey, you don't have to own a Contour to hang out here or in person. We only have a handful of Contours between the whole lot of us. I'm sorry about your car. Are you okay?

So you looking at getting another Tour? I've seen a couple used SVT's around Louisville. Let us know what you decide. Like Cindy said, feel free to keep posting here, and come attend some of our meets if you want.

So what exactly happened to your car? You hit someone else? someone hit you?

I had a tire blow out and lost control of the car. Everyone is ok, the tire, rim, control arm, axle all ripped out of the car. It was a real mess, I am going to get pics of it today and I will let you know where to see them. I have been thinking of another tour, I really want a svt with low miles and not ran out. Let me know what you find. On top of everything else I am losing my g/f. This has not been my week.

Both the car and the g/f are replaceable Maybe it's just time in your life for some change. My experience in life, (my own and watching others) is that the next person you date is almost always better than the one before.

I love my SVT. It's possible to find a good used one. When they were new, they were a little expensive for all the punks, so there is surely one that was owned by a responsible person somewhere. Just make sure you talk to the previous owner BEFORE you ever buy a used vehicle (has it been wrecked, oil changed, any parts replaced, WHY did you trade it). Most people will be honest with you.
