My friend, my brother, his gf, and I went to RMR last night. I was going to race my brother in his ZX2. I know I would have been beat, but like I said it the other thread it would have been cool to race, even if I have a slow time.
:p I got off the freeway a little too early (by 1 exit) and ended up having to turn around in ShopKo's parking lot. It was wet, so it made for a nice time to test the e-brake. It worked, and I headed out of the lot, noticing that the 180 marked
109,000 miles. Anyway, I meet my brother in Bountiful (he was at a wedding) and we head down to RMR. No postings on their site about being rained out. We probably should have called. Anyway, we watch some of the other people racing in RMR's parking lot.
I show my brother how to get back on I-215 so he can go home. Alex and I are crusing around SLC trying to find *something* to do. I am in shorts, so I probably won't fit dress code to get into most clubs. Anyway, drive around some more, trying to avoid those stupid 1" thick metal covers that they put over holes on 4th south. Cruise around some more, Alex suggests that we go to Vision Video. Might as well, I am right by I-80 east on 13th east. We hop up on the highway, and head up to Evanston via Park City. Get there, look at pr0n for a hour or so (I get a little something to bring home with me). I did find that they had a
midget pr0n video that Colter would probably like. FYI, Colter, it was $46.99. Head back home, have a shower, and go to sleep.
So, instead of spending $10 to run my car, I ended up using about $10 worth of gas, and dropped $30 on 'special stuff'.
It needs a bath again. The roads were wet so the sides of my car are all brown, kinda like they go in the winter.
Oh, the car now has
109,270 miles on it.
