Well yesterday I got a call from my wife and she was freaking out. She said that she had just passed out and her body was going numb. So of course I rush home to take her to the doctor. The doctor said that he "thinks" she may have a brain tumor. They are running a ton of tests right now and we won't hear back until Monday on anything. Please keep her in your prayers!

Holy crap. I sure hope that doctor is smoking something. He probably shouldn't be guessing on something like that before geting tests done, because if it's something simple all he accomplished was getting the two of you worked up.

And getting us worked up he has done. I hope it is something simple. I don't like to think about things otherwise.

Something similiar happened to my sister when we were little. We were both at the eye doctor with my mom, he was doing all that scary stuff with the machines in are eyes. He was looking into my sisters and he starts telling my mom all this stuff that made no sense to us. You could see my moms face start to get worried. The he said "Its very possible she could have a brain tumor very close to the front of her brain." So we were old enough to understand what that means! We both freaked, my mom got mad and said something along the lines of how can you frighten my children like that. So anyways she went in for test immediatly, had to drink that die stuff that charges your blood funny colors and went through a few scans to see where it was going. All the stuff hurt my sister like hell but it came back she was fine, just had something wrong with something behind her eye (eventually also causing her to wear glasses)it was scary since we were so little, would be scary today. But shes fine and thats all that matters. Could be nothing, but I understand your worried. Good luck.

Seriously though, I hope everything turns out to be fine. Try to put it into the back of your mind for the weekend, since you can't do anything about it.

FWIW, my uncle had a brain tumor in hit pututiary (sp?). They had to go in between the sections of his brain to remove it. It messed with his body pretty bad. It came back, so they went in again, and got it all this time. Hes a different man now. He used to be 6'1" 220#. Now hes 6'1" and over 300! His body isn't controlled as well as it used to be, his temp will change dramatically, so will his diet.
