I am wanting to put toggle switches where my cuholders are now. I need to know did all contours come factory with cupholders. I could use some input. I'm wanting to do this mod as simple as possible. 
95 contour (All the usual mods and then some.) Trying to sell four wheeler so i can buy turbo.

Yes. The 95-97 Contours came with the two pop-up holders, while the 95-97 Mystique's came with one bigger pop-up holder. The 98-00 Contiques holders are under the radio due to a redesigned center console.  BTW, what are you toggling?

Actually, all 95-97 Contours and Mystiques came from the factory with 2 cupholders that pop out of the console.
The larger, single cupholder design came later to replace the older dual design because they were too prone to breaking. I believe it was borrowed from the Cougar.

Except MTX's that had single cupholders, but the same style as the duals.
