I am replacing my engine with a 2000 svt duratec engine. It has 2000 miles.
The cost for the engine = 1400.00
Labor is 15 hrs @ 60.00
Total is around 2550.00
They are going to work on my transmission too.
The car should be back this friday. It is going to run so smooth. I cant wait.

BTW congrats on getting an E1 engine. You will now have 5 more horsepower then you did before. $2550 for 5 extra horsepower? :p

Whats the deal with the old engine? What happened to it? Are they taking it as a core or are ya going to sell it to me.

What happend try 84000 miles of bullying, its good to get a new motor and its a lot more the 5hp! its the feeling you get knowing its got a good long life ahead of it! Goodluck!
