That's a good way to get yourself into trouble around here. I would spend some time using the search feature in the upper right, and come up with some guidelines as to what you want for your car...aesthetics? we have a forum for that....
performance? u guessed it. I wanted to help you out before you got flamed for this....there's been a lot of that going around lately for some reason (every 28 days or so wink ) Welcome to the group, and stick around...I'd love to see what you do to the Styque.

Welcome aboard, Pete! Glad to see another Mystique owner looking to mod his or her car. Most anything that can be done to a Contour, can be done to a Mystique, with a few cosmetic exceptions. If you look at the link in my sig, you'll see a few of the things I've done to mine.

Good hunting, and I look forward to seeing some posts about your mods!

Pete... Most will start with the KKM (Shield is a good thing to do) intake. The problem is with heat soak as the weather get warmer (depending on location). It really depends on how much you would like to spend. As the saying goes "Anything is possible, how much are you willing to spend." Exhaust's are Bassani and Borla pre-fab and True dual built through others. Most all of us are willing to help with just about anything so just ask.

Like T-Red said you will get yelled at by some to use the search. It really is a good tool and one worth some looking into. Hope you enjoy the ride.

One more thing. I would highly suggest that you set up the car for what you wanna do. Look good, Go Fast (drag), or Go Fast (auto-x). Each one has it's own setup (for the most part). Just do one thing at a time and do it right. laugh Welcome Aboard.

www.contour.org is the best place to start.

Read all the pages off the main page and a lot of your questions will be answered...

Then come and discuss your choices in the Forum...
