I think it is, but I've seen cars with the front plate on the dash so you can see it through the windshield.

That looks way ghetto, though. My friend who has a Vette has that one plastic thingy on his bumper, which replaces where the license plate would go. One time, he got pulled over, because his car was too loud (straight Borla sidepipes, no muffler/res), and they didn't say crap aboot the lack of a front license plate. It really depends on the cop.

I didn't bother to drill a hole in my bumper and haven't put the front plate on since i got the car... No problem yet with the cops...
If you even get a ticket you just go to the ministry and show that you got the liscence plate on after 72 hours and they cancel it smile

so why bother laugh
