It looks like we've all been pretty busy this summer. Would you be interested in getting together for a meet? The "first" activity that comes to mind would be a dyno day. Forrest & Forrest Racing in Kitchener has a dyno - I can call and find out about group rates if there's interest.

Besides that, what's everyone been up to lately? Myself, I've been thinking a lot about doing more to the exhaust - I'd like to replace the center resonator with something less restrictive but without making it too loud.

Black '98.0 GL V6/MTX, tints, SVT airbox (sans fender boot), stock muffler replaced with spiral racing muffler, A6 side markers, Cougar 16" polished wheels w/ bald 205/50/16 Yoko A520's, Mobil 1 5W30, Castrol SATF/Ford FM tranny cocktail, 9005 high-beam bulbs all around, re-aimed stock foglights

I've called that place before for pricing, and I think they said $150 for 2 or 3 runs. I hung up the phone. I think they wanted more if u were planning on doing some tuning too.

I was like, I can just go to Oakville or Mississauga and pay $50 for 3 or 4 runs.

Why not a not a drag day? A great days entertainment for 20-25 bucks. Tracks are closing soon! I'm going to Cayuga on the 16. I don't drive a Contour, but I always like to meet up with fellow American made car enthusiasts.

Maybe we could just meet up somewhere and meet everybody. I thought that I read once that someone in the area had a G-Tech, and there are a lot of nice roads around. We don't necessarily have to go to a track or use a real dyno, best of all, local roads are free!

I forgot to add, If anyone is interested, I could set up an event involving 65mph go-karts. The cost would be between $65-$75 for three hours of officiated racing. There is other ways of setting it up to, non officiated lap running or what ever.
