How many of you in the area have had to replace the corroded coil springs on your Contours?

I replaced the fronts 10 months ago, today when having the tires rotated. I discovered both rear springs are broken. In multiple pieces. I am not impressed. I told the shop to keep the broken springs for me. Some Ford guy (not sure who yet) is going to get the rusty pieces of s**t dropped on his desk one of these days.

My wife works in the service dept. at a local car dealer, and she tells me Contour springs go very often.

Thanks, but I just replaced them last week, so I already bought new springs and had them installed.

But... judging by the number of people whose springs break on these cars, I'm sure there are several people that would be interested in your springs. I would have been 1 week ago...
