do what i did. i found a girl i work with that has a '97 GS and convinced her that her car would look better with my shiny, silver scripted 'contour' filler panels. told her it would take five minutes to trade them and i offered to wash her car. she went for it and now i have the nice plain black ones. good luck.

Or if you're like me and don't care for the textured dimples of the pre'98 ones, get yourself a can of satin finish black plastic trim spray from Pep Boys or Autozone... A couple bucks... Take off the sail panels, mask off the surrounding black plastic and spray a couple light coats on the center until you've got a nice even coverage.

It matches perfectly the front mirror surrounds and has that OEM look for a few bucks, some tape and 15 minutes.

Check out my pics in my sig, this is one of the first mod I did.
