my SVT, Toltec, isn't. She got rear ended by a hillbilly girl with no license, no insurance and driving her "friend's '89 dodge dakota today. mad mad I'm minding my own business stopped at a stoplight on s. westnedge (at gladys) and she come barrelling into me at at least 30 mph all four tires locked up on wet pavement. I had just enough time to squirt my first end into the left turn lane before she hit me, so luckily no front end damage. My beautiful SVT's back end has been severely damaged. lucky the rear glass didn't get hit but my exhaust is brok and the lower trunk lip is bent in - which of course means my whole rear subframe is f**k'd. I'll take it to the insurance in the am and off to the body shop - xchang suggested hardold zeigler or carstar. thanks for the help! laugh

not looking for much here, just wanted to write and tell ya'll. oh and one last thing: gggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Took it to Car Star 'cause their a direct dealer with statefarm. they seem pretty cool. parts are on order they can't seem to find a rear facia (big surprise  ), so it goes in on thursday hopefully. damage is at $4000 not including the facia and they haven't opened the trunk yet eek !!!

BTW there's a silver '99 or '00 SVT in there having every body panel worked on due to the storm damage from back in oct. it's in pieces! every bit taken off except the back glass and some of the interior. anybody we know? it was weird seeing one of ours in the shop. you barely ever see them on the street let alone in the same shop getting body work done.

What is it about Westnedge that makes all the retarded a$$es come out? I got rear ended right in front of the Portage police station at Westnedge & Shaver a couple months ago...10:30 at night, empty road and this high school kid in a Probe nails me. At least he had a license & insurance...I hope that dumb hillbilly b!tch got hauled off to the slammer...sounds like she has NO business being anywhere near a car.

Ah well, glad you're ok. I had Dunshee body & frame on KL ave do the work on the tour...they do EXCELLENT work! The car is beautiful, looks like nothing ever happened!
