Hey, I may actually be selling my 'tour, but not until spring. My Focus build date got push out until the end of february (ford pushed job one out till feb 1). However, Seelye actually did a great job on my paint!?! and I'll have my new stereo in the new dash in by then(ordering it today - sony explode cdx-m770es head unit, cdx-848x changer, and pioneer ts-a6895's in the door - don't know what i will do for a sub yet). I'm getting my exhaust done 11/5. cat back only. still got a warranty you know - all 2.5" SS tubing and Dynomax resonator and dual rounds in the stock positions and routing). I hope nobody takes this as a sales poster i actually am hoping to get some feedback from you guys 'cause i know you and the mods and audio forums are way too brutal for me

You know I do audio installs too, right?? Unless they are covering it under insurance, then I won't touch it.

I said i *MAY* be selling my car in the spring. i have at best the rest of fall (all 3 days )and an entire winter to be in that car (yes it's a winter driver), so that's a lot of time listening to a stock tinbox. theexhaust - need the extra power to push through those snowboudn powerslides on the backroads of MI (just kidding all potential buyers i would never do that to my car ). the main point of my post was to get feedback on my choice of stereo and exhaust, so please do. steve, i'm ordering it from the bargain-expo.com (great prices and really decent service!). i was going to do the speaker myself (i need to find that darn vibration in my doors anyway . and have the install of the head unit and changer done by somebody. but hey, we can talk at the meet next week if you want. i'd rather give you some biz instead of some guy i don't know a. van FYI, my ride is black with tan interior.

Sounds good... I've done my install as well as Mark's HU install. All you need it to buy a harness for the HU and I will have to charge for the changer, depending on where. Those are a pain to run wiring, but I can do it no problem. Are you using aftermarket amps, or are you bypassing the Ford "crap" premium amp and just using the amp in the HU? HU I can install for about $10, but the changer is a whole different story since I dunno where you are going to mount it and what type of wiring I have to run. But it'll be a cheap price, I guarantee that. A.Van: Why do you need a second SVT!?!? Not that there is anything wrong with having to, but that will be three cars you will have...

so, A. Van, i'll try and keep my car out o fth esnow banks this year and we can talk in the spring xchang, i'm running a sony es HU to a sony es changer so the wiring wil just be the uni-link cable. I'll mount the changer in my trunk (it's 10 disc and would neer fit anywhere else), probably under the decklid. i'm doing the component speaker set the cthomp124 suggested (see I'm upgrading my system - what you think? ). can you help me build those up? i couldn't order from bargain-expo's website got slammed on the 11th (they're in new york), so i'm calling them tonight and trying to do it that way. i'm in denver al next week so i can't hook up till th emeet but lets make sure we talk.

I don't see a problem as long as they are built (I don't build speaker, computers... but not speakers.). If they are just part that you put together, like most component packages, then YES, I will have no problems. Custom plates we can do anyway you want. We can have someone fabricate them (witch might be cheaper than us buying a large sheet of fiberglass or fiberboard, or we can make the plates. Mounting and cutting isn't the problem, it's the materials that is. I got my plates fab'ed at like $15 a piece, which is better than buying a larger board for six times as much. I just went with MB Quart components. They are awesome and can be beat. But that custom component setup is much cheaper than mine.
