i will call ford customer service today - i need to petition for my rim anyway. i will ask how to or go ahead a file a complaint report against seeyle. thanks for the input guys!

there is no recall at this time. there is a ssb on the tracks (thus the reason seeyle keeps replacing them). the seat bug the crap out of me. true, it's a performance issue not safety maybe i'll complain to SVT and ford customer service about that as well. SVT should but a seat like that in this kinda car (i'm tall and still kinda skinny - the lack of bolstering is bad enough)!!

what about the front speakers and the nasty vibrations and rattles with nominal or less bass. you guys (with stock premium sound) have that problem? i may be selling my car in january or the spring 'cause i get my SVT focus around then (projected build date 12/16!!!) so i don't know if i want to do an aftermarket radio - but it is driving me nuts.

The supposed "premium" speakers in most cars ar a single cone woofer that plays lows, mids, and highs. NOT A GOOD COMBINATION. They seem to clash themselves at higher volumes. That is why you take that BS "premium" crap out, and drop some aftermarket ones in.

I had my dash "repaired" under the warrenty. The dash, as you know, has to be atleast 2inches raised for the total replacement. I ordered the repair kit on August 30th and had it done on Sept 27th and they did a great job, no problems. Why not check with Reneker Ford, his son is in our club and should be able to take care of you. Good luck

Well thanks for the rating xchang i still can't decide whether to do anything witht eh car before spring cause i'm going to want to do stuff with the focus first, but i'm sure i'll break down before winter and get the stereo done.

As for that i gotta meet with keller tomorrow for the simple fact there getting 17 foci svt and i am the first one to be on the list are they a good place to deal with i see some do not think so. I live in greenville and ill post in general area later.

well paul, i gotta tell you, i also am getting the SVT Focus but i'm going to Bill Brown in Livonia (my dad lives there) for the sole reason that my interaction with Keller was so negative - before i gave them the money for my 'tour. i would think a dealer would manage to treat you with some decency at least until you close the deal. it just seemed like it was a supreme hassle for them to sell me the car. they still screwed me on my extended warranty.

I was going to go with Woodham Ford in South Haven for my Focus, but they kicked me off the waiting list (they only ordered three SVT Foci) when a guy came in between my phone con with them and me actually showing up with the deposit (they were cool enough to call me though). they were more then wiling to spec order me one but that put delivery into may so i found the car i want (sonic blue loaded!!) at Bill Brown.

There is a second SVT dealer in GR but I don't remember their name.

I'm not a big fan of Keller as well. I had my rear bumper painted after someone backed into it. They managed to get silver paint from something else they were working on up the side. It wasn't extremely noticable. I took it back and they clay bared it out but still. I take my car to Pfeiffer even though they are a Lincoln dealer. Dutler is the other SVT dealer BTW. They managed to bend one of Adams rear control arms though. Some kid just threw a jack under it with disregard to where to place it exactly.
