I would lke to know what fog/driving light would fit & be the best for my 98 Contour. I have read through searches for the past two hours and have come to no conclusion b/t PIAA 510, 1400, 1100, or what have you. I have gone the cheep route and i am not satisfied. My $20 lights from Big Lots just aint cuttin it. I know PIAA are $$, but worth it? i have stock oval cutouts in my GL. So whats it gonna be?

PIAA 510. Do a search on it. Many people have good comments about this lamp.

just run some regular 885 fog light bulbs, you can get them almost anywhere, decent range of choices, and they are cheap, and won't get you pulled over, and they are nice and bright.

Ditto on the bubbling.

Brian Hublar: FYI, I'm not sure about the PIAA 510 fitting in the non-SVT bumper openings... Double-check the measurements form the PIAA website before you purchase them.

hmm, I've been running mine for over 6 months, without any problems, go figure. Do you run yours all the time?

Yeah some bubbling can occur with those. I have them. I actaully melted the socket out once and I had to do some "customizing" But they are good and cheap.
