Are you talking about the gaurd itself or the sticky glue underneth the gaurd? Do I pull the gaurd in the opposite direction?

based on pollo_loco69's no clear coat, and the fact that our cars are only like 500 cars apart in build year, came from the same factory and are the same colour, i am reluctant to do this mod too....

but im gonna go for it, if theres no clear coat, what the hell.....it'll match the poorly matched paint where my stock antenna hole was filled....

ok guys

Its seems that most of the problems with the results of this mod is from having bad paint jobs from the factory.

My paint is flawless, i guess ford had a good day when they made mine.

Given all the info should i go for it or not???????

Ohyeah ... best thing to do (I think) is pull on one side and check before going through it. You can always buy them and re-apply if needed.

As for getting them off I used an old shirt and my thumb. No blistering at all. I rubbed the tack from the back of the car towards the front (kinda just rolls). You'll have to see what works best for you though. Just keep trying different things laugh

As for removing the gunk, bug and tar remover will work as well if you still have some remaining glue on the car and don't want to rub your finger off.

I used it to remove the same mess left when I removed the 24v badges on the car.

Sorry for the late reply, but I was referring to the sticky glue underneath.

It came off very easily if you pulled the opposite direction your are peeling it in.

Hope that helps if you haven't already done them smile
