Well my stock fog lamps went out and i need some new bulbs. Please tell me which are the brights, last longest and the cheapest. any and all information is welcomed.

Those three requirements don't mix. The bulb is #883. Some have replaced with 885 which is a little brighter. You can pick up Sylvanias at your local parts store for about $7ea.

Perhaps you made a typo.

The replacement number is 893. you are right about the 885's. some have switched over to that one because of the brightness.

I personally have Catz #893 50W bulbs which seem to be TOO hot for the plastic lens. A buddy of mine checked out the lens and felt a bump....definately from the bulb.
