Ok.. hopefully this is going to be my last post *****ing about my pinging problems..
I was even get PM from CEg fellas "suggesting" that i should change my log in name to "PPorges", which i thought was very mean...
Anyway... this is the brief story of what happened to my contour:
Two years ago I had heater hose leaking. I went to this cheap mechanic to change it. I remember watching the whole process, as i usually do. The mentioned heater hose was taped to other two hoses (which turned out to be vaccum hoses). because they were taped altogether this mech had to cut them loose: in doing so he "accidently" cut the vaccum hoses.
(at tha exactly point in time my life turned to hell).
Now today i brought the car to the dealer (finally... against my will). Their conclusion; the cut vaccum hose is my problem. not only that... the mechanic used a non-ford part for the heater hose and that's probably the reason my car is always running HOT !!
At that day he only bought the heater hoses... it was cheaper... Ford only sells the WHOLE package (1 heater + 2 vacc hoses - according to this dealer).
How much has that stupid action costed me:
* thermostats + refilling radiator trying to find out out car is runnning hot.
* 2 years running on 93 gasoline trying to solve the pinging problems
Damn it... there is a good chinese saying for that...
"misery brings you more misery".
I should never let that freak do any kind of work in my car...
