Anyone else had this done? I think it may be an older recall, but I am not sure, as my Zetec is a fairly recent purchase.

As with most/all recalls, it was free. Also, it took only a few minutes. Props to inver grove ford, their service department is open until midnight! smile

upgrade/replace cooling fan motor fuse with heavier duty type.

if it what I think it is they put a resistor inbetween the fan and the wiring harness. Should take all of 30 minutes at most. It just plugs in and is very noticable it you look at the fan. Have the dealer run an oasis report to find out the outstanding recalls that you have, hope that helps
