I am going to get the Kamikaze header. I want the chrome one, but I am afraid the finish will bake off and then I'll be sad. Will this happen or will it stay shiny? Which finish would be the best as far as longevity is concerned-black, chrome, or ceramic?
I can't wait to be the 2nd Zetec with a header, or the first with a header and SVT exhaust!

Ceramic will be the coolest(temp). Depending on the build quality it might hold up well.

When I talked to Rob from Zxtuner he didn't know when they were going to get the ceramic headers. The quality of the black header is good so I would think it would be the same for the ceramic. The heat is not bad from the black either but I think the ceramic might be a little cooler. Chrome would probably get fugged up because of the heat. Plus chrome doesn't transfer heat well. 1st w/ SVT exhaust eh? I might be getting one soon.  :p

Loco-Yeah, I was talking to him last night and he said I should keep bothering him until they were back in stock. Is there a big difference between the black and ceramic? You can use that $100 you saved to install it or get a high flow cat. You forgot to ask if he has his header on the car yet. :p

Well, I guess that doesn't matter anymore. I just got an email from Rob Green saying he just sold the last one and doesn't know when they will be back in. (*long audible sigh*)
Sorry Lee, we'll have to play mechanic another time. (*sighs again*)
On the bright side, I can go on and start on "Project Brahma". It's a secret mission where I break the SPL world record for a single 12". I already have it all planned out; I get a Brahma, add 1600w, go to NOPI and destroy everyone, then I get the women.
