can someone please tell me how to test if my radiator mounted fan is working or not. i never hear it/see it run (when stopped) and am used to belt/clutch driven (v-8) fans and am not sure how to test it. thanks all.
any help appreciated.

Well it'll take awhile but you should just let it idle for awhile in your driveway (locked). Eventually it should kick on for you.

any help appreciated. Turn on your a/c. It should kick on automatically.

no a/c, but that's ok, i warmed it up last night, parked in the driveway, popped the hood and check it, it works fine.

Feel real sorry for you on one hand...here in Bama, we have been seeing the heat index reaching around 104+ it is at those times that I use the A/C....but most times I don't. But, on the other hand, hey less drag, more HP...roll all four windows down

'96 Mystique, Zetec, MTX. ---Mods--- Removed both intake resonators and airbox. Installed APC air filter and APC crankcase ventilation filter. Removed exhaust resonator. Installed XM Satellite Radio. Replaced bad alternator and 175a fusible link...much fun! Intake plenum---GONE!!!! My car growls louder than yours. If I can't buy it, I'll build it...Trust Me!!!!
