I have replaced the O2 sensor and that did not fix the CEL so now I look to the TP sensor. I have some ? about it:

Has anybody replaced theirs? How much was it? Did you do it yourself? What were the syptoms you felt when it was going out?

It's the black plastic thing on the drivers side of the throttle body and has wires coming out the back of it. You can test it , but you need an ohmeter:
Measure the resistance between the middle terminal and one of the outer two, then middle terminal and the other one.Should be in the 400 to 600 ohms range and should change smoothly as you fully open & close the throttle. Any difference in resistance or weird changes as you open/close throttle time to change the sensor. Have fun getting your probes in- space is tight.

Replacement is fairly simple. Disconect the electrical connector, undo the two screws and install new one tightening to 27 in/lbs (not very tight if you don't have a torque wrench- even though every body should!) Don't forget to plug the wires back in!

Incidentally, what problems are you experiencing to suspect the TP sensor? Also, don't forget there are two O2 sensors, I had to replace both of mine and clean up the IAC & MAF sensor! Idle is still spikey but the check engine light has been off for a while now and plugs don't look black & sooty anymore!

What IAC stands for and where is it located?
I have the same problem with CEL coming "on" every few month. Changed O2s, later changed O2 again and clean MAF-it worked for a while.

If you have after market intake get used to saying those words to your parts counter, I am probably going to be doing my second one in a year soon...

edit: check you pcv valve and EGR valve before you go meesing with the TPS, more than likely your problems there.
