When I start it up of the morning it has a clicking or tapping I hear it better from under the engine instead of the top.It goes away after about 5 to 10 minutes when the engine gets warm.I dont think it would be a rod or anything I only got 92000 on the engine.I have not got a metal rod to find out exactly where it comes from yet.My dad says it just a normal engine noise that most of them do that. What do yall think.Anyone out there have the same noise its not loud its kinda quite infact but you can hear it.

Could be the infamous timing belt hitting the cover. There is really no cure except to remove the timing belt cover.

The tensioner and pulleys have nothing to do with the slap.

The cover on 1st gen tours are slightly too low and the belt slaps against the top of the cover.
