Ok gang, my coil is here and my wires have been here for a long time and I have tomorrow off, so I'm going to put everything in. Hopefully, my engine isn't too different and I get the right wires in the right places, otherwise, well, I don't really know what'll happen, it just won't be good. Anyway, I'll post tomorrow afternoon if all goes well. If I don't post, then I probably electrocuted myself and I'm dead in my garage, in which case my CTA is for sale! laugh J/K

When changing everything out, do one cylinder/wire at a time. That way you'll never mix anything up. laugh

OK, I finally got all of the wires out, which was a biyatch. I pulled out the first plug and it is the same Motorcraft I just bought. The plug is still in good shape. So, my question is; how often do you replace the plugs? I'm at ~45,xxx miles and they are in good shape, just dirty. Should I clean them and throw them back in or should I go on and put in the new ones?

Tough call. If I'd already bought them and pulled the others out, I'd still go ahead and replace them. That's just me, though...

I just finished everything. I put in the Accel coil, Magnacor wires, and new Motorcraft double-plats. The engine runs a little smoother and idles much better. Definitely worth the 8 hours I put in to this!
