OP DavidBC Member D Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 45 B.C. Canada	Hi I was wondering if there was a fuel grade of choice for Zetec powered Contiques other than regular. Will a higher grade of fuel give better performance (I know it will cost more!) and if so have any of you found it worth the cost? Thanks, David. White 2.0 In BC, use Chevron premium gas, it worked for me and I liked the results! In Alberta, I use Esso premium gas with 92 octane. Some people have found that the engine performs better with regular gas using 87 octane but I, and others, find that my Zetec likes the 92 octane! So to answer your question, try the higher octane for more than 1 fill and see for yourself if there is any improvement in performance. If ya don't like the results stop using the premium gas! ( I should change my screename !! ) I was suggested to try using higher grade (93) to stop my pinging.... :rolleyes: :rolleyes: Well... the pinging didn't stop but I am getting almost 400 miles on a tank...
