Is it possible to buy larger injectors for the older zetec with side fed injectors?

AFAIK the older ones have a side fed version, whereas the newer ones (definetely Focus) have a top fed one (more common normal I think).

My current injector looks like this:


And I think that the newer ones will look something like this:
or this

If not, do anyone know if it is possible to retrofit a top fed injector rail from a newer engine?

The first picture you posted is of a top feed injector all the Zetec injectors are top feed. The early Duratecs are the only contours with side feed injectors.

I don't agree with you.

Here is a link to two pictures.
The first one shows the zetec fuel rail as it is on my car.
The second shows the v6 rail.

The zetec is clearly not top fed, but the v6 is....
