Damn...I leave a thread for a couple days and look what happens!! Controversy is FUN!!
slowpoke,
Relax...zetec and loco were just expressing their interest in this unusually high output Zetec/ATX. No need to get bent out of shape. You are correct in saying that every engine from a manufacturer can(and will)have slightly varying outputs from the factory. Most are within a certain range, which yours is just above, but there are the occasional few that are a good amount beyond the stock specs. Who knows?!

We all know the VCT engines don't respond as well as the non-VCT engines. Probably because the VCT alters the exhaust timing to decrease emissions...like Terry said. Now we just need to figure out how to remove the VCT assy.(?)/gear and fix the wiring to tell the computer it is working just fine. Shouldn't be too hard...the signal is a PWM signal(current)that ranges from 0.0-1.0 amps. Sort of like a cat does I guess.
I'm curious to see what the next Dyno shows on slowpokes car as well.
