Alright, I want to buy a mesh grille and replace my Mystique grill (I really hate the mystique grille). That is the only thing that I dislike about my car. How well would it work and how much money are we talking about?

Do you know how to remove the chrome grill "frame" and the plastic inner part? Im having trouble doing it myself. The outer chrome part is screwed into the top of the bumper cover, and I can't get to the screws without bending the grill and possibly breaking something. The inner part is held in with push tabs, but they're also a b*tch and i can't remove them. I sorta like the grill myself, kinda BMWish... but then again mesh would probably look good too. Also, do you know how to remove the black plastic panel that is inserted in front of the fog lights?

Antiramie: the lower fog light grille insert is just clipped onto the bumper. It is relatively simple to remove. The best way is to raise the car on ramps, get underneath, and separate the retaining clips. It will then pull out towards the front of the vehicule.

J-lab, your Merc is one of the nicest "Contiques" I have seen!

I prefer Duratec cars that have engine/sound mods, but no outrageous body stuff. No Orange paint jobs or "bleacher seat" spoilers!

Hey Mike maybe you should have the grill blackened out, just an idea for you wink I'm thinking some kind of satin finish would look good.
