ZetecRacing got 2hp and 8lbs of torque w/ his Esslinger pulley. I have the ASP pulley and like it alot, car feels less sluggish through the gears. The intalation isn't really that hard. What you'll need: Jackstands for the front. Socket set and ratchet Phillips head screwdriver Some WD40 or "breakfree" lubicant A friend to hold the brakes for you.
Buy a haines manual and it will layout the whole process for you. Really straight forward 2hour job.

ohsigmachi, can you buy the belts for them at autozone or something? and how much does the belt run you?

I used the stock belt w/ the ASP pulley, the belt tensioner took the slack perfectly. I bought mine from KKM, WAAAAYY back in the day. The kit said to use such and such a belt but it turned out that belt number was for an escort or something.

One of my friends had bought an AEM UDP for his 99 escort zx2. He crashed his car before he could put it on. I just want to know if the UDP will fit on my 96 zetec engine. And also if the belt will work.

the pulley will work not sure about the belt... may need a different size... my 96 came with a 715 and I found it was too small I had to get a 721 and that was a little tight to fit on. when locozetecSE and I did his we had to use another size for his esslinger pulley than I did can't recall the exact size off hand though.
