Hi, how do you change the spark plugs? i can get the wires off but how do you get the plugs out, do you need a special tool to get down in there to get it out? or do you have to take apart the engine, very confused...

Put a spark plug socket on the end of a 10" extension. That should get the job done.
When you put em back in, do not over tighten. Recommended torque is somewhere in the neighborhood of 10lb-ft. You don't necessarily have to use a torque wrench, just be aware of what you're doin.

Is it a I4 or a V6 ? If it's a I4 the way i do mines is gently pull and twist grabing it at the base of the boot where it meets with the valve cover, not the wire it self. Good luck.

Never mind didnt read the post right...it's been a long day already plus the beers dont help either. OK now that i read it right once they are loose i use a 12" long vacume rubber hose to pull them from inside the valve.

Sometimes it helps to put a piece of plastic bag over your spark plug socket when you take them out. It will tighten the hold on the plug and you can lift them right out. It beats fishing for it after you get 'em loose.

All you need is an extension, a 5/8th inch spark plug socket, I believe. Loosen them and take them out. If you don't have a spark plug socket invest the whole $2 it cost at any auto parts store and get one. Very easy job.
