Man, that is sweet!! About how much does a set up like that cost? How was installation?? Did you do it your self or have it done? Where can i get one?

Was the replacement from another 96gl? was it cable driven?

Nice pics, looks like my cars... oh, but mine have that darn V6 symbol on the tachs, and a fuel gauge reading like your before pic.

p.s. What's the Ford name for the color of your car's interior?

How did you get the tach working, I thought they wouldnt work in our cars.

Jens(96)Tour: the speedo and tach is all computer controled and is already wired for it from ford. 96 and newer are the computer controled 95's speedo is cable and the tach is through the computer.
I got this from JontourSVT he found it in a bone yard on a 97 Mercury. I was chancing it would work cause I tried a 98 tach off an SVT and the speedo didn't work and the fuel gauge didn't either, but my car is a month too old to be a 97 so I said lets see... and it worked. one problem is I have no check engine light with it instead it is the overdrive off light that I get instead.

bk4293: see above.... if you know how to ise a screw drive you can do this and how to get the dash apart.

That looks familiar. I also change my dash surround from the 97 to the 98 style. I looks better and the vents don't break as easy.

What did you use to go by? Instructions I mean. Haynes manual? So now when you turn the OD off, what does it show? Nothing?

What did you do about your odometer? Is there a way to up the milage if you find one that has less miles than you?
