unfortunately there is no catback offered for the zetec at this time........yes a svt exhuast will work from the flange back....the flange being after the flex portion of your exhaust.....you hit it on the nose about the extension......or you can just do what i did.......buy you some good magnaflow components and have a shop put it on with custom pipe......for clarification i will let you know exactly how this sounds as i am having it put on my car in less than 12 hours!!!! woo-hoo!!!!!!!!

I just got an e-mail form the performance ford website and they said they're testing a new cat back for the 2.0s. Adam

Bwah? An SVT system won't work? What do you need to make it fit, aside from a good shop? I'm kinda new and really dumb.

a svt system will work, just not from the cat-back......we dont have a y-pipe like the v6 does....we just have one straight pipe goin back....correct me if i am wrong but i believe you take the svt system from the flange in front of the resonator and you need to add a little bit extra pipe, fab. a hanger on your passenger side to hang the other muffler and you are good to go.
it is now thursday morning and i expect to have a new exhuast on my car this afternoon, since this was supposed to happen 3 days ago....hopefully i will have another update this evening.
