i need a colder plug so i can put in my 75 shot of nitrous...i have the autolite 5344's and i regapped them to .035 like the guy told me and my car runs like krap...any suggestion on a better plug that will fit my 00 zetec..??

well, i just finally changed my factory oem plugs at 100K miles with motorcraft platinums, just like came in it. i also put in new oem plug wires. the car runs a lot smoother. it doesn't shake as badly at idle as all zetecs do, and it accelerates and starts quicker. each plug is motorcraft platinum and was only $4.00 and change at my dealer. if you run aftermarket plugs, they won't last as long. put in what the factory did. the factory coil will last forever under normal conditions as well, making an accel mod pretty stupid. motorcraft wires ($34.95 at o'reilly auto parts) topped off my tune-up. a ford tech told me they're just as good as the motorsport wires (spark is spark). jmo.

If you wanted more guts you should have purchased a car with the power plant that had some. The Zetec is not it and you are wasting money going the NO route. Probably have the coffee can muffler and huge spoiler to boot. Scare the hell out of people and hope that most people don't know that there is nothing under the hood. Sorry, does Ricer ring a bell!!!!!!!!!!

for one ...platinum doesn't work w/nitrous and for you my friend....unless you have something productive to say you can take your post and shove it up your a$$...you can think my car looks like a bag of rice all you want..but two can play that game...well your car prolly looks like the same car my grandma drives w/the back of it saggin down ten feet and 2 hubcaps missing ...and i hate to tell yah but the zetec has a lot of potential to go fast..not like you would know anything like that cuz it is above your general knowledge...basing all your knowledge on assumptions will make you like a moron juss as you have displayed...

I bought my zetec cause its the best car I could afford at the time because I also needed cash for important $hit hey its just a car. Customizing cars is an individual thing so what if some of our Zetecs are riced out. Zetec gutless guess you havent seen the focus RS :p zetec + 75 shot = SVT power
