Just bought my SVT and I want to get "Contour" off both sides of the car. How is this done?

Any advice appreciated

Take some fishing wire or dental floss then fish it bebind the badge going side to side well going down and it will come right off. then take some goo gone and clean up the clue left behind.

Sometimes a search of the FAQ is in order as well.....

I do assume you are talking about sail panels?

Correct, I don't want "Contour" on the car. I can't get fishing wire behind it because "Contour" is in the panel, it's not something you can get behind unless you take the whole panel off and work on it that way. You guys know what I'm trying to say.

I'll stay posted, awaiting replies

Buy some pre-98 sail panels man, they're all black, no fake carbon fiber look and they dont' have anything on them. Look badass and worth the $$. Go to mods/parts-->part sources-->either call atrascadero or bill jenkins and get some, they are just called pre-98 sail panels. Hope that helps.

So you are talking about sail panels then? If so, there really isn't a way to get the words out of there. I would suggest getting pre-98 pamels, oainting them or ordering the CF ones from Street Concepts..

YoungGun,I tried what you said and I could find Mod/Parts anywhere. Those names you gave me, couldn't find them either.

Gator, I had to be a member to even get on the Street Concepts board. I gave them my email, but there wasn't a place for me to join.
