I gotta 97 tour MTX, my check engine light has been on for a while. I finally got both O2 sensors changed. I reset the computer and ran the car, the car shifts hard and stutters between 4500 and 5000 rpms after that it smooths out. Need some help on trying to figure this out, I think it might be my MAF. What do you think?

thanks

Now the questions are: How many miles are on the car? How long has it been since you have reset the computer?

The reason I ask is because the computer takes a couple of days to find the settings and then it smooths out.

the car has 96,000. The timing chain was changed at 70,000. the light has been on for about 3 months. It turned on after I hooked up my intake. But I resetted my computer when it first happened. I got it tested and a the infamous 171 code showed up.
