HI, I was wondering if the Focussport Headers will fit the Contour's Zetec??? I think it would. If anyone knows please let me know. I am talking about the race header. Not that dumb JBA looking one (whats up with that??!!). :rolleyes:

I'm not sure, but I don't think so. I saw a pic of focus headers somewhere, and looking at my old car....no way.

Dipstick tube is in the way, Its in a different place on a focus

Also the focus manifold is different so it wont line up on a Contour/Mondeo

I heard that Remus made a Header. Is this true???

NOPI carries the Remus header. Check it out here .

I asked the same question a few months ago and someone seemed to think that it wasn't really a header, just some sort of flange. I've looked through Remus' website and haven't been able to find anything.

I guess that I should just check NOPI's return policy. $90 for a stainless header is damn cheap!

What do you think?

Oh yeah, if you look at the details it weighs 16 pounds. Pretty heavy just for a flange!!

I had just contacted NOPI and according to the sales person, this is no longer available by them. He did give me a number for CEC where I spoke with a sales rep who said that he can find out for me but it will take 2 weeks. http://www.remus.at is the site, but it is all in German. I believe that the application they provide is actually for a Mondeo, but same thing though, 2.0 16V. Andrew from CEC said that REMUS is closed until after all holidays and will be open mid January. I am supposed to call him back and get the info within 2 weeks, so I will keep you all updated when I get all info. Oh yeah, and that $90.00 price.... Sales person at NOPI said that is a typo.

Typo! Great...did he say what the price actually was? Anyway, thanks for the great info. It'll be a long two weeks. But hopefully it will be well worth the wait.

Well, as far as the price, he got a bit stupid and claimed that he would have to GUESS about $600.00 or so :rolleyes: , but personally I think he is a crack baby. Hopefully I am right about that. He said they are stainless steel and that's about it. Now, the guy at CEC was alot more helpful with his effort. He said that he does not have any info on it currently, cause it is not a regular seller, but anything by REMUS is available to them on special order. Which means, any Mondeo mods are now available to us as well! . He also told me that any special order items from REMUS will take about 8 to 10 weeks, but i'd say it's still worth the wait. Damn, I hate waiting . Well, i'll keep you all updated on this as soon as I speak to him though.

Friend of mine was looking into the Remus stuff for me over the summer. Friend of his was a NOPI distributor or some crap like that. NOPI was able to get it then, but they couldn't figure out what it was, and wouldn't let me return it if it turned out to be not what I wanted... So I passed.

Since their site is in German, I really can't figure out what the rest of that exhaust stuff is. Not too much info on it, and trying to translate it with Google doesn't give me any more info.
