About the exhaust...
If you're only planning a single 2.25" exhaust you would be better off(with a Turbo)to have a larger pipe. On the other hand if you're going to run DUAL 2.25" you'll be okay for performance. My $.02

You guys really need to hit up the Forced induction forum at Focaljet.com. Those guys over there are running a lot of turbo kits. Aerocharger, Gude, F-max, Alamo, and quite a few other custom setups. They have really been addressing subject you are on right now. One guy is running around 245 to 270fwhp or so with his set up.. I think its somewhere around there.

Plus, Im sure Terry knows whats up.. Most of the guys over on the JET are running the Aerocharger with 200fwhp all day long, without lowering compression. They have been addressing the computer/fuel/air issues to cure detonation.

The problem with the kits on Focal jet is they were all made specifially for the Focus and don't bolt onto the Contour. Also, some aren't street legal. I've spoken to an Aerocharger dealer that said they tried to fit the Focus kit on a Contour and it just wouldn't fit. He said it would require a 'total rework of plumbing'. BTW, I forget the guys name you're refering to but I'm aware of the Focus thats running 245 HP. Last I checked though the only person with that much HP was measuring that at the crank making just over 200 at the wheels. That may have changed though, its been a month or so since I've been there. laugh

By the way I under estimated what that guy is making on the JET.. it is 282fwhp an around 282tq...WOW>..His screen name is 1turbofocus. His name is Tom..

I wouldnt give up on the Aerocharger. I would give Jim a call. Im sure the set up would not be that different.
