'Stoich' = stoichiometric mixture, i.e. the chemically 'ideal' 14.7:1 A/F ratio. But keep in mind that chemically ideal is not necessarily ideal for power or durability in a car engine.

Refer to your Chemistry 101 text book for more detail.

I had Autometer gauges in my Eclipse GSX - Boost, EGT and A/F Ratio - necessary for tuning the "Beast".
In any case I got the A/F guage recalibrated by Gadgetseller.com. The make it so it reads voltages from 0.7V to 1.0V instead of 0V to 1.0V, that way it is moreuseful for WOT tuning as the LED each stand for 0.1V instead of 0.5V. The difference between 0.9V,0.95 and 1.0V is HUGE, so as is the Automoter and all other "binky light" A/F guage are pretty useless for tuning, unless recal'd. So I could see if I was running 0.93,0.94,0.95.0.96,0.97V etc.... at WOT.
You can buy the A/F guage and then send it to gadgetseller.com or you can buy them already recalibrated from their website.
I wanna buy another A/F guage for tuning so I can view the "Monitor" screen on my S-AFC as well as O2 voltages rather than just the voltages through the "blue wire mod".
I will probably buy the digital numerical A/F guage that gagetseller.com makes now.
Check out their website, it's worth the extra money.
