I don't care to add too the other discussion and make things worse than they have already become. You're entitiled not to like whomever you choose, honestly I don't care. So, I making this new thread in response to a post in the 'venom 400' thread.

You mentioned a Stage 4 turbo kit you were planning on using for your 2.5 swap into your car. I'm wondering where this Turbo application is coming from. Currently there is no Turbo being manufactured specifically for the Contour Duratec. Are you planning to buy the kit Chris Hightower is working on? How do you know it will have a Stage 4? I've talked to Chris personally about that kit and he didn't divulge too much info.

Maybe you're going with a custom setup? Can you give any details? Are you adapting a pre-existing Duratec application? I'm not familiar with one. I'd like some info please. If you'd prefer send me a private message so everyone doesn't have to see your plans. Thanks. And good luck on whatever it is your doing with your three(?) Contours.

Stage 4 turbo...hahah...Sounds like somebody has been playin too much Gran Turismo! Gonna get Stage 3 weight reduction and "racing modification" too I assume!

Lets just say I have never played GT for playstation i have other better things to do....i was planning with a custom setup from my old race team i drove for in Alaska. The "Bowerman Motorsports"..i come from the root of the old racing in the dirt..pretty weird to go to flat track...the part cars i have aquired are in anchorage, i just planned my trip back to Alaska permently and hauling the white comet white me on the uhaul...plus next summer i plan on having back in ND to settle a few disputes i have some what establish with the project car...let say total custom work in the engine bay...

FOR ALL THE TURBO GUYS....HKS Frankstein stage 4 hmmmm sounds like the turbo i just bought today...plus i have an old friend that is a engine-in-my-ear that works for BP oil company in Alaska that is helping me design the engine setup...

This is what happens we lay dormat off the forums and people are smarter then me..woop eee... that is why i friends to help me

Thanks Ruby. Frankenstein huh? Does that mean its pieced together from the parts of other dead turbos? ;)lol Sounds like some sort of a massive unit, is it going to fit the engine bay? Especially with the Duratec in there...not much room. Thanks again.

I was hoping on cutting the firewall to the car for the passenger side..plus the turbo will be placed where the battery is, so relocate, its not that big, i have a so called friend that drives a 97 Talon just got a carbonfiber hood for the height of the turbo but runs nice...check out the website for them... NA
i saw in sport compact a H22 in a civic swap
plus have a lot of idea from that and the 302 that was placed in a ford festiva, guy sold it on ebay for 9k, ben talking to him about it too...the guy has helped me out bunches...

noway i am member of NA...trust me i have couple of car owners that hate me, esp..the HONDA CARS...got in a fight a week ago...Troy is just an associate..those are the cars to race next summer for me

SQPLus, you know Jon King? Isn't he the guy that blew his engine with NOS? I met him way back when, when he only had 4 12" aura aluminumn subs in his car.

Yeah I know him, the guy that lives in Alaska right? When did you meet him?

He used to live in VA before he joined the Air Force and was at a Cap CEG event. Interesting guy, seemed kind of shady though.
