Ok, as some have may have read in a previous post, I replaced my stock needles with a set of needles off of a 89-94 Nissan 240 SX. The reason for replacing the needles was so that I could use Import Intelligence's Indiglo Needle kit. Our stock needles are made of a red plastic hence forth limiting your color choice to Red. I wanted blue needles so it was nessicary to replace the stock needles. I'm not quite done with this project (need to hard wire Indiglo kit and saulder the wire that came off of fuel gauge led, few other loose ends). as I still have a few things to do but I thought I go ahead and post the pics I have. I think you will like the results... I know I do laugh !

This mod will work for SVT and non-SVT!!

I'm not quite done yet. I still need to remove the stock light bulbs behind the needles as they are dilluting the color. I also need to saulder a wire back onto the fuel gauge led. I will post better pics when I have everything done!

Any pictures of these $70 LED's? I am curious as to what makes them $70.

Looks good man!

Chris--Sadly, I did not take pictures of the Indiglo kit or the install process. The kit is comprised of 4 led circles attached with VERY thin wire that leads into a small dimmer control box. I believe what makes them $70 is the fact they have no competiton  .

Hydra-- they will probably glow a little brighter and certainly more a "dark blue" once I make the few modifications that need to be done. The pics you see is not the finished product. wink

So, this kit will work with the stock Contour needles, correct? It'll just be red, which is the color that I want.
