It's not going to happen. Since you are new here, I can give you a tip on this board. Click on the "search" link up top and simply type in "Saleen". You should get a few hits on it.

The Saleen was just a prototype and nothing will be made from it. Cool pics, though.

Welcome to the group!

That's incorrect, I'm working on a group buy on the Saleen Front End as we speak. We have 16 more orders to go until this is a done deal. It's time for anyone who's interested to step up to the plate. follow this link if you're interested or would like more details:

HH, you should clarify that it is a front fascia that will mimic the Saleen concept's look (as closely as possible), and not the actual Saleen piece or design.

It's all about balance.

good point, this front end will fit your car easier and look better than the Saleen Kit that you two are referring to. If you notice, the Saleen Kit is pretty extensive as it goes over the wheel wells and with the way every piece on the kit matches each other. The front end that I'm proposing will look good with regular SVT side skirts and will match up with newly designed ones if they come along in the future.

you will never get enough people. i could have a "similar" kit made, front/rear fascias and side skirts for less then $1000 all i needed was 20 people and it would have been made (well 19 because i was one of the 20) and i could only find 13 or 14, and i wouldn't have even considered making the kit until i had 50% for 25 people because you KNOW some people are going to back out. anywho... what material are you using?

i am offically a troll... so take my information and advice with a grain of salt.

bret you're exactly right but I want to see what we can put together. If we were to get just 17 or so orders, I would cough up the extra 3 just to get this made. The difference between this group buy and yours is that this is only for the front end which is much more affordable than a whole kit although $1000 was a fantastic price.

If we could get that front end to stick out less, come more straight down, then I would be in. The only thing I didn't like was the way it stuck out so far.

That's not going to happen because of the 5 MPH crush zone built into our bumpers. Going striaght down, more like a Mondeo front end, is not possible on these cars without vilating that legal responsability to comply which no major manufacturer is going to do. Sorry.

What you're saying is the one saleen made just fits over our bumper, it didn't replace it?
