What are any noticeable changes (if any)in performance w/ the throttle body mod described in MadMole's site?

I did the same mod to a carburetor setup years ago & didn't notice much difference afterwards. Is it worth the time & effort?

Tnx in advance for any replies! laugh

Is the smoke alarm in your house also known as the "dinner bell"?

Minor in performance as the increase in flow that it would allow is around 2%, but is smothered by the plenum chambers etc in front of it

But it will help, especially if you have a lot of carbon around, especially at idle and low throttle

Costs nothing and easy to do so no down side and potential for benefit

When you've modified the inlet system, its still the manifold below the TB thats the restriction, rather than the TB.
