I just removed mine and three out of four posts were cracked and the copper connectors of my wires were oxidized (turned green from some kind of buildup). No wonder my car was jerking at low rpms and accelerated poorly from a standing stop. I had the coil for about 7 mths. Those of you that had it for a while might want to check yours just to be on the safe side.

HA! Its a trend. I sent mine back today, same problems. Jerking and crappy acceleration off the line.

Just to let u know that the zetec wires get very hot and the dieletric grease breaks down from heat. You need to buy some greese and gunk alot in there. Talking about the terimals and boots of the spark plug wires and coil......The low end jerking is from miss firing in the wire from the coil, plus make sure there is not heat deteration from the excess jerking and heat..
email me any questions
