All right well ive heard all the kills by the duratecs but havent heard to much about the zetecs. Let me know what cars you guys have beaten.

Dynomax Super Turbo muffler
20% tint on all four windows.
ding guards and all badges removed
Aiwa MP3 head unit
Cerwin Vegas in all four doors
tweeters in A pillars
1 10" MTX 6000 run by a 300 watt mtx thunder amp.
Fog lights, custom tachometer.

my zetec has taken out a friends civic.
his civic has a sohc 1.6l with dc headers and greddy exhaust.
my zetec has a short shifter and 2.5" cat-back exhaust and weapon r intake,
my brother Cisco is working with a machinist to get some custom headers and applying a higher flowing cat.
he has a pair now that he had made in new haven connecticut.

At the dragstrip, I've beaten an older Toyota MR2, early 90's Aerostar minivan, S10 Xtreme 4-cyl/auto, and a '97 Escort wagon. On the street, I don't do much racing, but I did beat up on an older Pontiac Sunbird from a stop light. I had about a half car length on him up to 50 when I let off.

Toasted an 89 camaro V6 at the drag strip. there was a little on the line(titles), but I bet him 3 times and now I have a 89 camaro. I have FAITH in my FORD CONTOUR ZETEC.

I've actually only raced from a stoplight once (sad, I know). On the bright side I toasted that poor little Sunfire. It was up a decently steep hill too. I hold my own against nearly everything on the highway though, and I always embarass those who try to keep up with me on the twisties.

Well I have beaten a lot of Civics, Cavaliers, a few Grand AM GT's, Accords. As a matter of fact I raced a Accord tonight on my way to work. I was driving about 80-85 and passed this Accord. I slowed down for my exit coming up and he did a fly by. So I say f@#k it and went for it. I caught up and preceded to pass him at 120. The look on his face was priceless. A few more mods and my Zetec will hang with the big boys.
