ALRIGTH, I HAVE A '99 ZETEC CONTOUR.
MY ONLY GRIPE WITH IT IS - NOT ENOUGH POWER.

I REALLY LOOKING FOR INFO AND SPECS AND JUST PLAIN HOPE FOR MY CAR. (REALLY WHAT I WANT IT TO BE)

I WAS GIVEN A 1990 FORD PROBE GT 2.2L TURBO ENGINE AND A MAZDA 1994 TRANNY FROM MY COUSIN WHO HAD BOTH A HIS PROBE BEFORE DECIDING TO DESMANTLE IT. HE WAS IN A TECH SCHOOL LEARNING TO DO BODY WORK, SO HE NEEDED THE PANELS FOR WORK ACCESSORIES.

SINCE NO KNOWN TURBO IS AVAILABLE FOR THE 2L CONTOUR, THIS REALLY MY LAST HOPE OF POWER FROM MY BABY BEFORE TRADING IT IN FOR A 4 DOOR INTEGRA.

HELP PLEASE .

WANT ANY AND ALL OPINIONS, EXPERIENCES, DREAMS, THOUGHTS, HEAR-SAY, ILLUSIONS OR LIES

There are several turbo kits available for the Zetec......

I WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT THE ZETEC SYSTEMS AVAILABLE WOULDN'T BE COMPATABLE FOR THE CONTOUR,

IF INFO ON SYSTEM THAT WOULD AND STILL COST
EFFIECIENT IS KNOWN PLEASE RESPOND.

ALSO MY ORIGINAL POST WAS IF A SWAP OF THE 2.2L TURBO ENGINE INTO MY CONTOUR WAS POSSIBLE WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK.

Hegoru is refering to you using CAPS. As for the 2.2 liter swap I don't know if it can be done without extensive modifications.

SCA's turbo was designed on the Contour Zetec...
Focusparts would probably have similiar issues as the Aerocharger kit...
The latter two are not street legal which limits your options.

Depends on your definition of 'breaking the bank.' You'll probably have major issues with fitting it our trannies and getting to fit the engine bay. laugh
