Alot of people say the Superchib eats, and others say its great. Others who have the Diablo chip say its the best, but I haven't run into many who have the Diablo. Your thoughts please.

I have a Superchip, for a couple of years now. I haven't had any problems with it. I like it very much. It was a good investment.

Ground Zero,
Are you running 87 octane still? I heard that you can continu running 87 except on hot/humid days. Is that the case for you?
Tom, if you search the forum I remember seeing a graph of the diablo and the superchip on a Cougar and the diablo was something like .4 s faster on the quarter mile. I know that as soon as I have the money I'm getting a Diablo chip.

no I'm running high octane.. I heard that also that you can run lower octane.. I tried using lower octane but the car felt very sluggish so I stick with the higher octane..

Ground Zero, did you feel the difference when you installed it?
I know I felt a difference right away after installing my Intake.

Yes, I felt a difference right away. The performance of the car was noticable..The shifting was so much smoother and quicker also.

I heard that as well with the idling..but i haven't experienced anything like that. I've had mine for over 2 years and no problems.. Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones..
