OP 2000V6SE Member 2 Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 1,493 Elmhurst, IL (Chicago)	Who's been to the track with thier Zetec cars? Just curious to see what they run compared to riceys and Duratecs. Mine is not modded enough to run. I bet I could get 18 secs, woo hoo! 2000 SE fleet, V6, ATX, ABS, no spoiler, T-Green/tan. Built 01/2000 in MO. Added 12 spoke factory SE rims, K&N. Biggest mod: ESP Plan!

sqplus Member S Joined: May 2000 Posts: 2,657	At the national meet at Second Creek Raceway last year John Miks posted some excellent times against a pack of SVT's and Duratecs. He was the only Zetec Auto IIRC.

Back seat out, spair out, jack out, back doors off, just aluminum, welded on with tube supports.. carpet, out, ac out, everything not needed, out.. passenger seat out.. fiberglass hood.. body pannels.. everything extremely light.. lol.. not to mention the engine.. wow.. expensive.. with my automatic 4 banger.. i think i got something gay like a 19.4 lol.. slow slow slow.. my tour is slow.. i can beat geo's though.. and kia's It might of been, my car is a 96, gl.. zetec.. that sat around for 2 years, never used... hmm.. its needs work... 96 Ford Contour GL, Blue. Custom Color: Pearl/Metal flake, midnight blue.. ATX Zetec Fury Exhaust.. Mods:Removing Catalitic converter, Straight pipe back to the muffler.

I haven't been to the track lately and I've gotten new tires and I am in the process of getting a new intake. I am hoping for at least a 16.5!!!
