My friend got the guys at meinikie to a "free flowing catalitic convertor" on his VW Jetta. It sounds pretty ****ty b/c he replaced the res. and muffler w/ straight. He told me that it will pass emissions and was totally legal. Does anyone if this is true? I really like the way he gets them back fires but will it be that way on our cars

Hey, Do you have any pics of that header installed on your zetec? How was the clearance and did the JBA ports match the zetec head?

WE MUST HAVE INFO!!! laugh Sorry to yell, but some of us have been looking at those JBA's for quite a while wondering if they'd work. Please take a pic or two.

I suppose I'll give Modern Performance a call on Monday and see what they have to say. If they'll let me return em because they don't fit I'll probably order this week or next.

That isn't a Focus engine bay they have a picture of. Focus has a black valve cover and no prop rod. That may be a ZX2, looking at the location of the dip stick.

Thanks For everyones Intrest in my set-up.
I will post some pics. but it going to take a bit b/c my scanner is on the frizts. For clearence it has no problem, it also keeps the engine bay cooler. BUT if I had to do it all over again I would buy the long tube header(the one thet say isnt street leagal), b/c If you buy the shorty header you have to fab. a colloter for the other side of the pipe were it bolts to the header. And for price to in stall it, I don't know b/c I put the set-up on my contour.
