I was told by a distributor for both that they are almost identical except that the Diablo will firm up the shifts on the ATX more than the Superchip.

My Superchip is better than ANY Diablo chip. Unless the Diablo chip would also be free. Then they might tie.

Is there really a noticable difference w/ the chip? And is there any negitive side effects of installing the chip, besides having to use premium gas?

diablochip, i have it still slightly used (about 300 miles), i was thinking of putting it in my cobra, but no need to really, 320hp is enough.

If the diablo chip is better than the superchip why is the diablo cheaper? Just a thought, I am thinking about picking up one or the other and want to know which is better. But one of you say diablo and another says they are the same. Which is it? Help me out, please, please.

its not a zetec "chip" it can be reprogrammed to any car.

No wonder you've been so quiet...nothing to say now that you don't have a Contour anymore. Heck, if I had the gains you claimed with that chip I'd never get rid of the car.

How hard are these chips installed and will local dealer install or not? I take it that these chips are pre-programmed with info that you specify (stock or moded)? Thanks for info!
