ok i have the 40 series flowmaster and i was told i need bigger pipes?? i think he said 2.25 ?? and i have just a basic tip on there im new to this so bear with me what tip would give it a good sound?? thanks

just want a good sound i need to replace my pipes to and remove the res but i was just wondering if there was a certain size i nned to get this sound i dont want no honda lookin basketball rim for a tip lol everytime i see those i want to shove a softball in there and jam it with a hammer any way redhawk thanks for the answers

Drumnut: That is the sound I'm looking for. Just to be sure thats a glasspack replacing the resonator and then a 40-series flowmaster. All on stock pipes. Right.

ah the sweet sound!! so that stock pipes and a glasspack?? now i was reading u have to replace it about every year and a straight pipe is better?? it was posted in here a few days ago??any way sounds good i just like it when i start mine up and it growls, sweeeeeet!

i have 2 1/4 cat back borla with the 4 inch tip and it sounds nice, ask 99redse from the v-6 section, he can verify that it doesn't sound like a rice grinder at all.

The 40-series Flowmaster in combo with a straight pipe sounds great, but the drone on the interstate gave me incredible headaches. The glasspack cut the drone, but didn't affect the sound too much.
